My name is Karson and I'm 6 months old now. 

 I was born with a serious heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia.

I had already been saved by CPR six times in my first 3 months when my doctors

decided that I couldn't wait any longer to have open heart surgery.

They operated on me January 30th, 2012 and now my chest is healing and my heart is beating stronger!

I will still need to have more surgeries, tests and procedures done as I grow,

 but my doctors are hopeful that I will be able to live somewhat of a normal life.

My parents are doing the best they can to keep up with my medical bills from the surgery, many hospital stays,

six ambulence rides, tests, specialists, etc. but they are in need of some help.
