This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Hank Mobley “Quintet” on the New York 23 labels of Blue Note BLP 1550. The flat rim playing surface is in new condition and appears to be unplayed, with a nice luster. The laminated West 63rd St. cover is also in virtually new condition - clean throughout - with sharp corners and perfect seams; normal light age toning on the back slick.
Personnel include Art Farmer, Horace Silver, Doug Watkins, and Art Blakey.
