The compact Sweet Cottage is a popular model for both
indoor and outdoor use. At only 4X4, it provides the perfect
getaway for any child and can fit in just about any space.
Assembly can take as little as a couple of hours depending
on how much help you have. The kits are shipped as panels
which are pre-assembled, primed, and ready for painting in
your choice of colors. The customer is responsible for providing
shingles, paint, and the drip edge, all of which are readily
available at your local home center.

Our DIY (Do It Yourself)playhouse kits are designed for easy assembly.
Unless otherwise noted, they should require an average of
two adults working four to eight hours to complete.
Panelized walls, pre-cut pieces, and alphabetized labels
help make the process simple, as does the
downloadable full-color instruction manual
(link provided with your purchase).
When assembling your playhouse, please make sure to choose
a level area for installation. We recommend an area that is
covered in crushed stone, patio block, or concrete, in order to form
a base for the playhouse. However, because the playhouse bases
are made from treated lumber, they can be placed directly on the ground.
If you do decide to prepare a base for your playhouse,
make sure it measures 1 foot wider than the house itself on all sides.
If you are interested in moving your playhouse to another location
in the future, you should purchase and install 4 x 4 runners before
completing assembly. Once runners are in place, the playhouse can
be moved by your local tow truck company with the use of a flatbed
and a winch. If you are simply moving the playhouse across the yard,
you can do so with heavy wall PVC piping.
Ships within 7-10 Business days via Freight Truck
Do to the size and weight of this product, it cannot ship
via Common Carrier (UPS or FedEx),
therefore it will ship to you via freight truck.
Items delivered via freight truck are curbside delivery
meaning it is your responsibility to move the product from
the curbside to your desired location.
Most freight companies offer additional services.
If you require additional services, please contact the freight
company once you have your tracking information.
You will be responsible for any charges associated
with these additional services and must pay the freight company directly.
Freight shipments require an appointment to receive the delivery.
It is recommended that once you receive you’re tracking information
that you contact the freight company directly to schedule an appointment.
The freight company will contact the customer to schedule.
If it is necessary to obtain a building permit or to cross a neighboring property,
it is the buyer’s responsibility to obtain a neighbor’s permission
or to purchase the necessary permits prior to delivery.

In addition to saving on your shipping costs(compared to a pre-built playhouse), our precut, unpainted, pre-preprimed, ready-to-assemble kits make it easy to build a memory for your child that will last a lifetime! Assemble time will take 2 adults approximately 4-8 hours, depending on the size of the playhouse and skill level. Sara's Victorian Mansion kits will take longer. With the exception of the roof, the kit comes with alphabetized panels which are easily assembled in alphabetical order. All you need to do is fasten the panels with screws! Your kit will come with a link to an online printable manual to guide you step-by-step! What could be easier! |

Delivery of DIY Playhouse Kits via Common Carrier:
Playhouse kits are shipped nationwide via common carrier. When your shipment is expected to be delivered via common carrier, you will be required to have 2 people there to help unload. Your shipment will arrive on a pallet (number of pallets will vary with size of building). The truck driver will help remove the bands and wrapping on the pallet, the 2 people will then be required to unload each panel piece by piece from the truck. However, if you so choose, when you purchase your playhouse you can pay an additional fee to have your playhouse delivered with a lift-gate. When purchasing lift-gate, the truck will pull up to the end of your driveway, and using the lift-gate will simply lift the pallet off the back of the truck and into the end of your driveway. When lift-gate is purchased you will only be required to have 1 person available to sign for the shipment.

In addition to the standard features that come with our easy-to-assemble kits, you also have the option to purchase a Deck and Painted Rail manufactured in our factory. Other options you can purchase for your playhouse include a floor kit (except 10’ x 12’), inside loft, chimney, and extra windows, shutters and flower boxes. Any additional items needed by the customer before assembling their playhouse can be purchased at any local home improvement store.
