HURST JAWS of LIFE...4 HYDRAULIC GAS POWER / PUMP UNITS, PARTIALS & a WHOLE LOT of SPARE PARTS
Made in USA by Hurst / Jaws of Life Manufacturing, of Shelby, North Carolina.
This is the second lot of these portable, gas powered Hurst / Jaws of Life Hydraulic Power Units, etc., that we're listing on eBay...This lot is essentially the remainder of what didnt make the first lot. Nevertheless, we trust prospective bidders will find this lot to be just as interesting as the first one.
This lot consists of four Hurst Hydraulic Power Units, two being model # ML-2H-SV, which are the smaller units, and two of the larger Hurst Power Units, which we beleive to be model #P640S(x). These four Power Units appear to be complete, or at least pretty damn close to it. The larger ones do appear to be complete, and one of the two smaller units looks to missing its gas tank, but considering that this lot happens to include THREE such gas tanks, this missing tank suddenly doesn't seem to be a bad thing, now does it?
With the power unit P640S(x), Hurst set the standard with quality and performance. For use with all Hurst High Pressure rescue tools, the P640S(x)allows two tools to be connected to the power unit at one time for simultaneous use. They arepowered by 5 horsepower Briggs &Stratton I/C (Industrial / Commercial) Engines.
The two smaller ML-2H-SV units are powered by Honda 2 horsepower, horizontal shaft, air cooled, 4-Cycle Motors. Comes with copy of the Hurst ML-2H-SV Instruction "Manual" & Repair Parts Sheet.
THere's a run-down of what's included in this lot. . . . .
Two Hydraulic Fluid Reservoir Tanks (Toward center in first photo / black),
One partial 2 horsepower Honda engine (just left of black tanks),
Two, somewhat complete Hydraulic Power Supplies / Pumps (directly behind reservoir tanks),
Four individual steel Jaws Of Life - Jaws (front, right in first photo),
Twenty-five quick release Hydraulic Couplings / Fittings (behind Jaws, to right),
Twelve, quart size bottles of Fire Resistant Hydraulic Fluid (directly "above" Jaws),
Twenty bottles of Hurst 2 Cycle Lubricant / Gas Additive (shown atop the two smaller Honda Engines ),
Three Gas Tanks, Three Pull-Start Assemblies, Pull-Starter Shroud, etc. . .
The remainder of lot can be seen in photos.
All appears to be in pretty good physical shape, however, we acquired this lot with the knowledge that not all of them were going to be fully functioning. As we have not attempted to power up each of these units, (nor ANY of them, for that matter) to better assess the extent of their functioning capabilities, we are unable to say if the "complete" Pumps are in good working order or may, perhaps, be in need of some repair.
High bidders are quite welcome to come check these out first hand at our facility.
Come as shown in photos.
Overall Dimensions of individual Hydraulic Power Units (smaller Hondas) are 12" x 16" x 16" tall.
Please Note: As the contents of this lot have yet to be staged on pallet(s) for shipping, we are unable to list approximate overall shipping dimensions at this time. However, we will add that information to this description within a day of two. . . . .
Same goes for the approximate shipping weight as well. Please check back with this description periodically for this ammended information.
There will be no loading fee, however, we're gonna have to figure out how to safely secure these loose items onto a pallet for shipping, or if indeed the freight companies will even take such a pallet of so many individual components without every single last one of the components individually secured to pallet. Realistically, though, we're most likely going to have this lot crated for shipping.
Either way, there will be no loading fee. Crating will be the expense of high bidder.
For our crating needs, we routinely rely on a local company called Double J Packaging.
Their number is 818-767-7756. Ask for Tim for palletizing, crating & shipping cost.
High bidder is responsible for all freight cost, third party company charges, and is to arrange shipping with carrier of choice. You can contact Tony at FreightQuote 1-800-323-5441 Ext. 1383.
PLEASE NOTE: Unit MUST be removed from our facility within one week of end of auction.
Sales Tax will apply to items sold to buyers who take delivery in California. Item may be picked up from Northridge (91325) location.
Be sure to check out my other listings on Ebay. Item will immediately be re-listed if payment is not received within 5 working days. Please contact seller if for any reason payment cannot be made on time. Check out the photos provided, thank you for looking and Good Luck!
