As a fan of anime, I found out about .//hack. Set in a game called "The World" Tsukasa , the main character, can't seem to log out. Mimiru, one of his friends, tries to help him in his troubles. They meet many interesting characters along the way, such as people famous in the real world, and people they know, but don't realize it. Trying to figure out why Tsukasa can't log out, and trying to find out why some monsters are bugged. This anime follows their adventures. It is a very good show, safe for the family. I would recommend it to anybody.
By far one of my favorite shows. Probably not good to the newer kids though.

This series really touches the heart of MMORPGs. For those that don't play online fantasy games, you might be a little lost. There are a lot of conversations that the normal person wouldn't understand without having played one of those many online role playing games. The sound track it what really impressed me about this anime. The songs were beautifully written, produced and mixed into the animation.
Great classic anime up there with the top 10

I love .hack to begin with. Ever since I saw the show on television, I've been hoping to get it as a collection. It's an incredible show that's sparked a wave of .hack games, books, and cds. I'd definately recommend watching this show if you want to watch a really good anime.
