Federal Georgian Lovebirds Green Depression Glass Sherbet
Looking for the Federal Georgian Lovebirds green depression glass sherbet? This is a super pattern. It's mold etched with flower baskets alternating with two lovebirds, joined by swags and an intricate top band. This is one of my favorite depression glass patterns and I hope you like it too!
Federal Glass made Georgian from 1931 to 1936 and collectors called it Lovebirds for the two birds in the motif. It's a pretty pattern that is different from others and one you'll be glad you have.
Sherbets are perfect little dishes you can use for more than ice cream. You can use it for fruit salad or any small side dish - it's a lot of fun to use vintage glass and be different from other people.
Sherbet is just over 3 inches tall and 3 5/8 inches across at the lip. As is common with Georgian pieces these are unmarked. (You can find authentic Georgian both marked and unmarked.) Georgian Lovebirds sherbet is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and virtually no wear.
