Up for auction today is an adorable red and white striped cotton swim suit.  This piece came to me with a full wardrobe of party dresses and school dresses from a little girl who grew up in the 50’s and 60’s.  This adorable size 6 child’s swim suit has been worn, but would still make a super fun display, and would even be cool framed.  The tag reads “CREATED BY tab TEEN AGE BEACH WEAR”.  The elastic on this suit should not be stretched, as it has worn out over time.  The red fabric has faded to pink a bit on the bum (see photo), presumably from chlorine.  There are no holes or tears.  If you look closely, some of the red thread is missing around the legs.  The cool dark blue anchor applique is curling slightly.  It might be good for the buyer to give this piece a gentle wash.  I did not do so, only gently pressed it with an iron.  I will leave the rest to you.  However, none of these flaws are immediately obvious.  As I said, this is a super cool, rare piece to own!  I am offering it at a low price with no reserve.  Enjoy!
