Media Mail Note: the US Postal Service is now opening and inspecting ALL packages sent via Media Mail. Therefore, the prices for Media Mail have increased and the delivery time for these packages will be slower. Please be patient with the post office as they work to smooth out the wrinkles in their new protocols for Media Mail.
Shipping to a different address than yours: we often prepare our packages right away so we can get them out to you quickly after payment has been received; therefore, if you want an item shipped to a different address than the one you have with PayPal, you need to let us know right away. Also, any item that is shipped to a different address will be shipped as-is, meaning that our return policy is voided as eBay’s “insurance ”does not cover items shipped to a different address.
If more than one shipping service is included in your listing, you can select whichever way you want your package sent. If you have difficulties, please email us so we can assist you or send you an invoice just with the one service of your choice to make things easier. e-Bay often puts the more expensive service listed first (unknown why); don’t feel you have to purchase that one just because it is listed first.
We often ship with UPS. If this item is set up for UPS, please provide a street address as UPS does not ship to P.O. boxes. If this item is going to you via UPS and you provide a P. O. Box, we will not ship your item until a street address is provided. Thanks.
Also, with UPS, we may require a signature upon delivery if the item is of substantial value, usually for items over $75. This provides protection for both of us as it is not uncommon for packages to be taken after the UPS driver leaves them on a doorstep; this added service allows you to get your package and us to have a happy customer.
We ship items within 48 hours, unless it’s a holiday, weekend or postal holiday, or if there is a delay in processing your payment by PayPal, in which case, the item will be shipped as soon as the payment clears PayPal. Also please note that UPS does not deliver on Saturdays (without charging an additional fee), so if you pay for an item on Friday, it will be sent out on Monday if it isn’t a holiday. We will provide a tracking number via email as soon as we have it; if an estimated delivery date is provided by the carrier, we will provide that as well. If no number is provided (as when we ship internationally or for small envelopes) then we will tell you that as well.
Buy-It-Now items (not bidding items) may be removed from listing within its final 48 hours to be put either for bidding or to be removed completely so as to not allow it to re-list for another month. Buy-it-Now items are often listed locally as well, so if a local buyer purchases the item before it is sold on Ebay, it will be removed no matter how many days are “left” on the item. Therefore, we highly advise you not to wait until the last minute to purchase items if you are very interested in buying them.
Payments are due within 4 days of purchase. If a payment hasn’t been received, eBay automatically opens an unpaid item dispute on the 4th day of not receiving payment even if you made other arrangements with us (it’s an automatic eBay thing that we cannot alter). We will wait another 4 days thereafter. If payment is not received by this time (or other arrangements made), eBay will automatically close the case and relist the item—and you will receive a penalty from eBay in doing so. So, please, do not force us to take this action; we don’t like to do it….and it may keep you from being able to purchase other items from eBay in the future.
Threats: threats of any kind will not be tolerated and will be immediately reported to eBay security as they do not tolerate threats either. Those submitting threats will be banned from future purchases; if you make a threat while you are the lead bidder on an item, your bid will be removed and you will be prevented from future sales with us.
Requests for sales outside eBay is against eBay policies. We will not sell our items to you if you ask for sales outside of eBay and your request will be reported to eBay security.
If you need to contact us, you must contact us via eBay, not to our personal email account as we get a LOT of spam and such that gets sent to the junk folder so we don’t even look at junk emails. If an email is sent to the personal email instead of via eBay, we will not respond.
Returns: There is a 14-day money-back guarantee if the item is not as described – not if you do not like the item. (14 days from the date the item was received at your location; if you have a post-office box or have the item delivered to another address other than your own, the return policy is in effect from DELIVERY date even if you picked up the item on day 10 for example). The 14 days include weekend dates but not these holidays (4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day). No items sent to other countries will be returnable for a refund due to the high cost of shipping.
Return shipping will be YOUR responsibility.
If you return an item and it was not the one we listed or it was not in the same condition or it was an item that we do not accept returns on, you will NOT receive a refund and the item will not be returned to you. If you return an item that you state is not working but it works for us upon its return, you will either NOT receive a refund or you will receive a partial refund (see below) and the item will not be returned to you (so do check the batteries prior to sending it back, please).
When your return item is received, it will be compared with pictures taken prior to shipping to make sure your claim is justified. You are required to return-ship the item with a tracking number within 2 shipping days of contacting us (shipping days are all days except Sundays and postal holidays); the tracking number must be provided once you have sent the item; the item does not have to arrive here within 2 days, only the tracking number has to be emailed to us within those 2 days. Items sent back without notification or a shipping number may not be acknowledged. Items sent back past the two shipping days will not be acknowledged. Also, if you send back an item that is not covered by our return policy unless authorized to do so, you will not receive a refund. It is your responsibility to contact us with questions or concerns PRIOR to sending an item back. We may charge a 20% restocking fee based on the situation of the return; this is put into effect if an item was returned as undeliverable, if you returned the item without all the attachments and such, or if we deem the situation is warranted (you will be advised of this prior to your returning the item).
The refund will be processed via PayPal within 3 days of our receipt of the returned item. If we are also paying your return shipping, you will receive 2 refunds (2 transactions) as PayPal does things a little differently when it comes to processing refunds.
