Pop-A-Card (Gottlieb 1972) is known as one of the top Gottlieb pinball games from the 70s. It is an add-a-ball, and features three banks of drop targets. Completing a bank lights one of the WOW features, and scoring WOW gives an extra ball. It is possible to increase the ball count as high as 10.
The game is in very nice condition. The playfield is terrific. The colors are vibrant. The apron is very nice, and the game was recently rerubbered with lights replaced. The playfield shots show lots of detail, and also show the game with the WOW lights lit.
The backglass is in great shape.
The cabinet is in very good shape with the typical nicks to be expected. It is original. The coin door is in fair shape, needs to be reconditioned.
Overall, I have started and almost completed a restoration of the game. Still needs a some work. But an awesome machine, I have seen these units go for $3500.00. This is a steal at the price I am asking. They only made 825 units of this game, the brother of the series “Drop-A-Card had thousands made. Great addition for a collector, or someone to complete the restoration and make some money.
