Revive
your old, worn-out wedges
with
this top quality
Groove Sharpener Tool

For
both U and V shaped grooves
IT 'S A FACT: Worn-out wedge grooves
produce a significant loss of stopping power and back spin.
Why
use the Wedge Sharpener?
Why do you need a Groove
Restoring Tool?
To
get more backspin and control out of your wedges and irons!
This
Groove Restoring Tool is one of the best wedge re-grooving tools on the
market. Restore the grooves on your old wedges with a tool
that
will cut them back to their original factory form!
Our Groove
Restoring Tool is made of heat treated tool steel (A-2).
Because
the tool is so hard, it will not lose its cutting edge. It has two
different cuttings sizes, one side is for square grooves and the other
side is for V shaped ones.
You will be able
to restore the grooves
on your wedges
in just a few minutes.

How to use your Groove Sharpener
First,
clean you club heads with soap and water to remove debris and wipe dry.
Applying
a few drops of lubricating oil will allow the tool to work with the
least effort. If there are any hard objects stuck on the grooves (like
small stones) remove them with the use of a sharp object |
| Place
the shaft of the club away from yourself and the face of the club flat
on a surface. Place the desired end of the tool in the groove to be
sharpened at about a 45 degree angle. Holding the tool in
your
dominant hand, apply light downward pressure, pushing the tool thru the
grooves towards the socket removing any nicks or rolled over
metal. Repeat until the grooves are free of obstructions and
sharp. If the grooves are severely damaged it may be easier
to
pull the sharpener thru the grooves instead of pushing it. Remember,
you are not cutting a deeper groove, you are sharpening the edge of the
groove so don’t apply too much pressure. |
| It
may take several passes to recondition damaged grooves. Once you have
the grooves sharpened I recommend using the Groove Shrapener tool after
every round or two to keep your grooves in great condition.
You
may also want to use the tool between shots to clean out the
grooves. |
