This is a nice watercolor painting on paper by Gideon D Arul Raj. This piece shows a street scene in India with a man walking down the street. This piece is signed in the lower right in watercolor "G D Arul Raj".

CONDITION:
In my opinion it is in very good condition due to some matt burn. Please see photo to form your own opinion to it's condition.

SIZE:
The image size measures 11 3/4 inches height and 16 inches width.
The frame size measures 19 1/2 inches height and 23 1/2 inches width.

This is a biography taken from the website AskArt about Gideon D Arul Raj.

Gideon D. Arul Raj was born in Kodiakanal, India on August 2, 1925. Raj studied art at the Government School of Arts and continued at a school in Madras, South India. About 1946 he moved to Laguna Beach and became active in the local art scene. The Walter Foster Company published a “how to” book of his painting techniques in the 1960s.
