I always have trouble inflating my road bike tires to 100 psi using a frame pump, this CO2 inflator gets a 700 X 23 tire to 120 psi in just a few seconds. It's also easy to add just a bit of gas at first, so the new tube can be checked for proper seating before full inflation. Just screw in the cartridge and then press the inflator onto the valve, pressing it down releases the gas, and it's very easily controlled. A 16gm cartridge is what should be used for most skinny road bike tires. The cartridge and valve do get very cold during inflation, I slip a 3-inch length of rubber from a used tube over the cartridge so it can be held without getting frostbite, and the rubber sheath also stops the cartridges from clinking around in my saddle bag. Highly recommended.

The second time I used it, it blew up in my hand. All the mechanism inside came out and had to throw it out. Better to spend the $10 extra and get one of the big brand ones.

Been using the same one for 3 years and fairly regularly. Thought it was time to replace because it was loosing air for the first time and I'm happy to buy the same exact one again. Turns out it still works fine after I cleaned it. This is so easy, universal for Schrader and presta valves. No levers or switches, just push down and the air comes out. I've never had a leak or even a slight issue and put through about 40 containers. Better than an air pump any day. I highly recommend it. To be honest I had to use it on my car once to get to work as well. Not a familiar brand before I bought my first. Not that I own 2 it's safe to say I'm a patron of the brand and couldn't ask for a better product.

The Genuine Innovations inflator is simple to use: screw the chuck onto the CO2 cartridge tight, unscrew it 1/4 turn, push the chuck onto the tire valve, press the chuck so the spring is compressed and the tire inflates. It's a quality tool, well designed. I've used and found the cartridge still had a little compressed CO2 in it a couple weeks later...most inflators lose the extra gas in a day or two. I recommend it highly. This is the 2nd G.I. inflator I've bought.

I've needed to use this a few times since I bought it. Had another that threaded onto the valve. It was difficult to remove it without losing pressure. Not with this one! Couldn't be easier to use! And packs so small!!! My only criticism is that I'd love it to have a pressure guage like my last does.
