I apologize if shipping costs seem high. Your shipping cost includes tracking and insurance. Most items will ship via USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise noted. Other options are always available. Please email me if you would like a price quote on a different shipping option.
If you are an international buyer, please know your local regulations regarding customs fees and prohibited items. After 6 years in this business I just found out that I am not allowed to ship footwear or leather items to Italy. I had no idea. While most things get through with no problems, which is why I did not know, if a prohibited item gets stopped in customs I may not be able to get it back and it may not get to you either. I do apologize, I can understand not being able to ship live animals or contagious diseases, but shoes? Also, I cannot mark items "gift" as this constitutes mail fraud.
Here's the fine print mumbo jumbo that seems to be necessary these days:
Please email me with any questions before bidding. Buyer is responsible for actually paying for the item once it has been purchased (don't laugh -- there are some who don't quite get that part). The item is as-is and is in used condition unless otherwise stated. However, I will refund your money if the item is misrepresented. I do my best to accurately describe each item and will only accept returns if the item sent does not match my description or I was completely wrong about a detail. Items that are physically picked up by the buyer may not be returned after the buyer has taken possession of the item.
All items will incur a $2.25 handling fee -- which is used for insurance and for delivery confirmation. Buyer is responsible for providing transportation, materials, and manpower necessary to retrieve any items that are pick-up only unless arranged differently with seller. Buyer must respond within 3 days (sooner preferably) of the end of the auction to my invoice and/or email.
I will always leave feedback, but only once I know that you have received your item and that you are happy with our transaction. If there is a problem, please let me know first and I will try to work it out to our mutual satisfaction. SOS! Consignments is an e-consignment business. I do not pretend to be an expert on everything that I sell, so please feel free to ask as many questions as you would like. I will always be completely honest about the condition of an item.
