Generac XP8000E Portable Heavy Duty Generator 

Ok, here is my story:

After the latest storm here in New England I promised my wife I'd buy a generator.  I spent a fortune, and bought the heaviest duty 8000 watt one I could find. I had the electrican wire the connection to the house, and hoped all would be fine.  Unfortunately, the generator I bought, had full panel GFCI protection, and would not work with the interlock kit we set up. The only way to run this generator through your house is by using a GFI transfer switch, which we did not install.  So, I cannot return this generator because I put oil in it and started it.  My loss, your gain.  I will start over with something else.  In the meantime, this unit which was run twice, and has 0.2 hours on it, is yours for the taking.
