GREAT 14K YELLOW GOLD & PEARL SCALLOP SHELL FORM STICKPIN

Presented is a fine quality 14K gold stickpin in the form of a shell. The surface of the shell is textured to give a more realistic appearance. A single pearl is set near the bottom of the shell. The stickpin has a clutchback safety mechanism to prevent loss. This piece is American in origin and was probably made in the 1920s or 1930s.

The stickpin is marked 14K on the reverse. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14K gold.

The pin is in super condition. The pearl is well set and has a nice luster. There are no chips, no breaks, no splits, no repairs, and no problems of any kind.

The stickpin measures 2 7/8 inches or 73 mm in length.

The weight without the clutchback clasp is 2.8 grams.
