     Thanks for looking.  This auction is for a nice lot of 50 St. Gauden mini gold coins.  Great for new collectors, or resale at retail locations or on eBay. Each coins weighs in at .5 grams, and 10 MM in diameter.  Please see the detailed pictures above, they are small.  I have found that these coins were made in the 70's when Gold prices were much lower (225 an ounce) then today.  But the HGE plating all over the place and inconsistent.  I do not have the time do go through them one by one.  It would be wise to do some research on these coins before you bid.  They are not meant to be scrapped out, although it would be interesting to try for the low investment as Gold is going for $50-60 per gram Many people sell these coins on eBay one at a time.  These same exact coins go for over $5+ daily on eBay.  And Amazon sells them for $5.49 a piece.  Here is your chance to buy in bulk and save a lot of money.   Here is a list of the specs i found. 

    The Picture above was taken by me with no Photoshopping.  These coins are very beautiful.  And these small coins are very heavy for their size, due to the gold plating.

Fineness: 10 - 22K (varies) numerous recorded solid 

Obverse: A full-length figure of Liberty strides toward the viewer. Liberty is wearing a flowing gown and sandals, her right hand holding a torch and her outstreched left hand holding an olive branch. The word LIBERTY is inscribed along the upper border.

Reverse: A majestic bald eagle flies toward the viewer over the rays of a rising sun. The legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is above the eagle.
