Thjs model was brought out in the early 70's as an E-2B, and was updated in the late 70's early 80's ( I built one back then ), and was impressed with the finished model. The E-2C came out in the late 70's early 80's as the kit was updated and still commands a impressive presence when completed. While over shadowed by the newer , better detailed Hasagawa kits, it represents a good value for the dollar spent. The cockpit "glass" design was ingenious, and should have been copied by Hasagawa it it's newer kit releases. Maybe Fujimi will coimpletely revamp their kit, and make it a multi - variant kit, ie: E-2B, and E-2C, and.......possibly a "COD" version !

The pieces have very minimal flash and injection marks. The box is stuffed full of parts. Did not come across any bends in the parts. Very nice kit
