Im very happy with my Focusrite Saffire 26 interface. It worked as soon as i plugged it in. I am using a Mac laptop and I have it connected to a thunderbolt hub. From the hub I have a firewire 800 output that I cabled to the Focusrite. I have absolutely no audio problems whatsoever with the interface. Its rock solid and stable. Latest drivers support my OS without crashes. I can record multiple audio streams at once without a hiccup. I run my DAW through the interface (Logic Pro) which then outputs the audio to my monitors. I can run 25 channels of audio and instruments without a single problem. The unit itself is study and well built. Its made of metal and doesn't feel cheap. All the audio inputs have a solid connection when plugging cables in. All the dials move smoothly and linear without scratches. The LEDs are informative and respond quick without being glaring and obnoxious. After installing the drivers and plugging my equipment in, I haven't touched the device. It just works. No fuss. The audio output from the interface is quiet and smooth. If there is background noise from the pre-amps I cannot hear it at all. This is a solid state mic pre-amp but it still sounds amazing and smooth. No noticeable sound coloration. Overall this is an excellent firewire interface. If you have firewire or thunderbolt then this is the interface to get. I upgraded from an USB audio interface that was ok. It wasn't as nice or well built as the Focusrite unit. I had occasional stuttering with the USB device. But after going to firewire/thunderbolt I haven't had an issue. It could be better data streaming via firewire or it could be the Focusrite interface. Either way my audio issues of the past are gone. My only regret it not being able to afford the 8 channel version. The Saffire 26 is a 4 channel interface (technically its 14 channel - 4 mic/instrument input, 2 line input and 8 ADAT).Read full review

The focusrite itself is great. The mic however is not what was shown in pic and its of super low quality. Good deal tho

Sounds great! Windows 10, mixcontrol software have some bugs like having to restart computer from time to time but other than that, it is a great audio interface and well worth the price of 299! It sounds way better than my steinberg UR22, vocals sounds way better also, it is truly a professional sounding audio interface. Knobs are smooth and tight, I highly recommend this interface in the 300 price range!
