Important Please Read - Regarding Receiving Damaged Goods
Claims with LTL Carriers can be complicated. It is important to check your shipment the moment it is removed from the freight carriers truck. Do not allow the driver to leave until you have check the shipment for damage. This includes concealed damage, if you suspect their may be damage then it is your responsibility to have the driver note "Damage" or "Possible Damage, Subject to Inspection." Otherwise you will be left with the damaged goods as it is nearly impossible to win a claim without this notation on the delivery bill. Please read more on claims law from my third party carrier further below under the Claims Liability heading.
