South Florida Everglades Largemouth Bass Fishing Trip with U.S.C.G. Licensed Captain Shane Procell

Coming to the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale or Ft.Myers area on business or pleasure?

Have you been dreaming about fishing in the Florida Everglades? Make it a reality. The Florida Everglades is the top fishing destination for both hobbyist and professional worldwide. Let me take you Bass fishing deep into the South Florida Everglades. A landscape ruled by the alligator and home of the Florida Black Bass. The fishing is HOT!  It doesn't matter if you have never fished or are a experienced angler, you will be crushing fish. You will be fighting some big fish and have a good opportunity of taking a trophy bass of 10 pounds or better. Trips of 75 to 200 bass are the norm, but there are exceptional days of 300 plus fish. I practice catch and release but if you want to keep your 5 fish bag limit it is fine with me. Beside Largemouth Bass, you will be battling with Bowfin, Chain Pickerel, Gar, and the exotic Oscar, Cyclid and the South American Butterfly Peacock Bass. I will be taking you into remote areas of the glades that are almost impossible to  access and are not over-fished. The florida fish and game (FWC) has determined that the South Florida Everglades produce more fish per man hour than any other part of the state. Considering all the fantastic lakes and rivers in Florida that is amazing. So if you are looking for action I have it.  

This is not a "Shiner" trip. This is light tackle artificial fishing. Trust me you won't need live bait. You will be casting an assortment of artificial lures including plastic worms, flukes, frogs, and an assortment of crank and jery baits and some top water frogs. The hookups will be explosive and non stop! I use only the best rods and reels that are perfectly matched for the rugged South Florida Everglades environment.

Fishing in the Florida Everglades is like no other place in the world. The Florida Everglades is the largest remaining sub-tropical wilderness in the U.S. covering over 1.7 million acres. The wildlife you will see will vary but you are guaranteed to see plenty of alligators, waterfowl and many other amazing species. Bring your camera to capture this trip of a lifetime of memories. I will assist with digital photos of your Everglades adventure and burn you a disk at no charge.

I'll pick you up at a prearranged location and drive you to the boat launch. We will be on the water before sunup and usually hit the boat ramp again at dusk. You will fish all day or as long as your schedule permits. Because of the extreme nature of this excursion I do not do a half day trips, however we can pull the plug and run out at any time you like. After the day I will take you back to your car on the edge of Miami. If you are staying in the Miami area it may be possible for me to pick you up from your hotel. We can work out those details.

I will be hosting you in a new wide-beam, shallow draft micro-skiff that is just small enough to access the hidden and remote locations but large enough for me and my two clients. I can accomodate  two fisherman and myself. This is the perfect trip for a father and son, husband and wife or just fishing buds.

If you really want to go fishing but can't fish all day I offer a 1/2 day trip for $399 and a 3/4 day trip for $449.
