The quirky town of Lucas, KS, population 400, is famous for their Grassroots Art. Because of the 15,000 + tourists that visit each year, Lucas needed public restrooms.
Not being like most towns and building a square building with his and hers, Lucas made their restrooms a piece of art. From the building that is shaped like a toilet tank, seating area at the entry that is the toilet seat to the sidewalk of toilet paper leading to the roll, this is the most unique restroom in the world.
The inside walls are all mosaic's created by local citizens.
What is being auctioned here is the privilege to do the First Flush of the Super Bowl toilet.
The flush will take place on June 2nd, 2012 at 3:21 pm. at 117 S. Main, Lucas, KS.
All proceeds will go to the Grassroots Art Center for upkeep of the restrooms.
