As many of you know, the Fenton Art Glass Company has ceased production of collectible handmade art glass.  They have been in business since 1905 and have made their mark on American history with their production of beautiful and amazing glass.  We returned in November from Fenton's Final VIP Event and  found many treasures that we will be listing in the coming days and weeks.  Please check back frequently for many more artist/designer samples, one of a kind items, Fenton Gift Shop exclusives and beautiful and rare Christmas items!  If you have ever wanted a one of a kind item, now is your chance to get it!  Fenton has gone over the top with these items and many have elaborate designs by their best designers and decorators.

This lamp was originally offered for Fenton's 2009 Fall Lamp Special.  While attending the VIP event we mentioned this beautiful lamp to one of the Fenton Gift Shop employees stating we would love to find one, though they were long since sold out at Fenton.  This employee went to the back area where the factory is and returned with this stunning lamp.  This particular lamp was the artist sample for the lamps offered in the fall lamp special and it was the last one they had on hand.  An artist sample is very special in that all the items produced after, follow this example.  The first photo is a stock photo but is shown because the detail and lighting is much better than our amateur photography.  The rest of the photos are of the actual lamp you will receive. 

This lovely cobalt blue satin lamp has a detailed and elaborate pattern of white birch trees encircling the entire lamp shade.  The white stands out in stunning contrast to the rich blue of the glass.  It measures approximately 22.5" tall.  The lamp shade is approximately 12" in diameter at the widest point.  It has no chips, cracks or other damage and is signed by Fenton artist and designer M. Kibbe (Michelle), who also was the original designer of the pattern.   This lamp is "as new" and "as found" directly from the Fenton factory.  Please note that that are a few little nicks in the paint of the circular holder that sits under the finial.  There is no other damage or flaws. There was no box for this item but it will be securely packaged in bubble wrap and peanuts for safe delivery.
