nice amp effects are "subtle" in a good way don't seem to overpower. I normally use tube amp head and cab but needed a grab and go for the small tavern close to home for "sessions"with house pa etc. very powefull but not at its best clean. does what I bought it for but tubes are tubes. nice quality good overall sound and a good value. unless you have been spoiled by a tube amp it will be fine as a smaller venue main unit. works for me well enough don't have to carry extra gear.

Clean Channel - EXCELLENT - has that classic Fender blackface sound. Reverb - EXCELLENT - again, classic Fender. Chorus - EXCELLENT - rivals the Roland Jazz Chorus Overdrive Channel - NO GOOD. You'll need your own overdrive pedal to use on the clean channel. Just pretend that the overdrive channel isn't there. A great amp for Blues & Jazz. The 2 x10 has a much bigger and deeper sound than a 1 x 12, even at low volume. The 3 way EQ gives you the versatility to dial in the exact tone that you are looking for with whatever guitar you are using. The controls all have a studio quality feel to them - rock solid sturdy with a smooth sweep and a very even response. The tank reverb is the real deal and has that signature Fender sound. The stock speakers are excellent, don't swap them out. This amp is an undiscovered gem. BB King used a solid state amp for the blues and drove the price of that one through the roof. (Lab Series L5), This is a great amp still at a great price...while they remain undiscovered. BTW let me debunk the myth that there is a 125 watt version of this amp. There is only one version - stereo 2 x 25.5 watts for a total of 51 watts. The 125 watts printed on the rear or the amp chassis refers to the max input power - not the output power. The entire Fender Princeton line is power-sized for Studio use... although this amp is more than loud enough for small gigs. I brought my pristine amp used for $130. It is the 1998 made in USA version of this amp. I have the original receipt... this 1998 MIA Princeton Chorus sold at my local Guitar Center for $398 + tax. This amp just sounds so much better than today's fender solid states.. no comparison.Read full review

This pedal is of excellent quality. I can tell that it will withstand years of use. The cord and plug is also of fine quality.

These gems are great collectible amps. Grab 'em while you can. Not many completely original, down to filter caps and resistors, like these left. Great start for a collection/investment inventory. And they sound fantastic.
