Up for auction is the original owner's manual and accessories that came with Fender Guitars and Basses. This is a nice set that came with Fender's American Special Stratocaster, but is a good set for any American Fender guitar that uses the standard U.S. Truss and U.S. Strat size Bridge hex wrench. This set comes with the Fender polishing cloth, and truss and bridge adjustment wrenches.

This set is almost identical to the Highway 1 Strat set, except the Hwy 1 comes with the Lacquer Finishes Guide. The only thing specific to the American Special Stratocaster, is the red inspection tag if one is present.
This set may be specialized for a particular type of guitar and contains certain custom items and/or differs from standard Fender Case Candy. If you are looking for a more general set or something different, please see my other auctions to select the best match for your needs.

Many items in this kit are common to most Fender guitars and basses, including the manual and tools. For Fender branded instruments, the user manual is the same between the American and Mexican instruments, and I've found it applies to most standard Fender and Squier instruments.
Check my other ads to make sure you bid on the set that best matches what you need, or ask me about the model you have. I may have certain customized sets for Artist Series, Custom Shop, Classic, Deluxe, Road Worn and others, which include special hang tags, tools, instruction sheets, and more, so please ask!
Tools (if included):
You should note that there are differences between the tools for American series Fenders and Mexican or Japanese models. Some models require an additional wrench (such as locking tremolo) and some don't need a truss rod wrench. Make sure the tools in this kit (if any) match your guitar or, if you don't need tools, check my other items or ask me, and you may save some money.

- Fender "Strat" Inspection Tag, not pictured, is not included in the bid price, but if it is present, I will include it. For sure the model and serial number likely won't match your guitar anyway. If you care about this tag, please ask before you bid and I'll tell you if this set has it.

If it's pictured but not listed, or listed but not pictured, it's probably a mistake. Contact me before bidding! (Exception is the red "Strat" tag. See above.)
Condition:
New or Like New, in Very Good to Mint condition unless indicated. The plastic bag was opened unless noted. There may be some marks commonly found on documents that were packaged with guitar hardware, but there are no tears or major defects unless noted in the description or picture. I bought these in bulk to hunt for my own guitar's kit.
Please don't sell counterfeit guitars.

Please do not abuse the "Ask Seller a Question" feature to spam me. I will report all spam, harassment, or any obvious abuses I don't like that violate eBay's policies.

No Warranties: I am not a large reseller, so I can't offer any warranties with the items I sell, but may choose to offer one for certain items. Unless stated otherwise, all items are used, in the condition described, and are sold AS-IS. Bid accordingly.
- Shipping Charges: I am not a large reseller, so I don't get any volume discounts or other advantages with shipping. I have set up eBay's shipping calculator to show you how much it will cost to ship your item before you bid. If you are unsure about the cost, ask before you bid, rather than complain after the fact.
- Shipping Methods: For U.S.A. shipments, I usually offer three choices of shipping, including USPS Parcel Post or Media Mail (where appropriate) for lower cost. However, these methods are slower, so please don't complain about slow shipping if you choose to go cheap. If you're in a hurry, I recommend USPS Priority Mail. International shipments are always going to be slower. How slow depends on your country.
- Combined Shipping for certain items: If you want to combine shipping on any items that don't have that set up already, please ask before you bid, and I'll let you know if it can be done. Large items usually can't be combined, though, because they're in their own boxes. But, it all depends, so it doesn't hurt to ask.
- Shipping Insurance: If this is an expensive item, I strongly encourage you to purchase shipping insurance to protect against shipping damage. I usually offer insurance as a shipping option. For some items I may make insurance mandatory.
- "Sniping" is perfectly legal: Please be aware that you can be outbid at the last minute through a practice called "sniping". Neither eBay nor I have any control over this practice as it is within eBay's Policies. Please watch this item when it's close to the end, or bid your maximum price now so you're not disappointed later.
- Payment: You have seven days to pay for your item. If you don't pay by that time, and don't communicate with me, I will post negative feedback and file a non-paying bidder complaint with eBay (to recoup my fees). Communicate! If you let me know of any problems, I can give you an extension, but if you still end up not paying, I will have to report you.
- Problems? In the unlikely event there is a problem with your purchase, please contact me before leaving feedback. There's probably a simple solution.

I have decided to allow international bidders on certain items such as this one, where I don't anticipate any export restrictions or additional hassles. I don't do a lot of international sales, and you should know in advance that shipping items outside the U.S. to other countries is more of a hassle. Once I ship the item, it may get stuck in your country's customs department, and delayed there. You may be charged additional fees which, depending on your country, can be extremely high. These additional delays and charges are beyond any eBay seller's control. Still, buyers blame their eBay sellers and post negative feedback claiming excessive shipping charges and excessive shipping delays. This is why many U.S.A. sellers don't sell World Wide.
