The books range in condition from 0.5 POOR to "HIGH GRADE" NEAR MINT. I have been brought on board to organize this massive collection. I bring with me over 35 years experience of collecting, grading & selling comic books. I grade very conservatively using the 10 Point Grading Scale per The Overstreet Price Guide. Please note that I am not a professional grader and that grading is not a science and can vary from person to person. Because of time constraints and trying to list as many books possible, a majority of the time general letter grades will be given to the book/s that they fall under and or range between. There will also be times when a more specific numerical grade is provided along with corresponding letter/word grades. In The Overstreet price guide section there are 6 grading categories/scales for which they price books GD (2.0), VG (4.0), FN (6.0), VF (8.0), VF/NM (9.0) & NM- (9.2). So for example if a book is listed as or described as VG/FN, in my estimation the book ranges in VG (4.0) condition to FN (6.0) condition. I will try to note anything that does not show in scans/pics. like spine splits, gloss/reflectivity issues, loose pages/covers, large stains/discoloration & paper brittleness. Most books will be starting at ONLY .99 with NO RESERVE so you/the market decides on price of these books. Remember any price guide is just that a GUIDE! So if you feel compelled to debate whether the book grade should have been a 4.0 VERY GOOD instead of 4.5 VERY GOOD+ or 5.0 VERY GOOD/FINE then these auctions may not be for you. Offered for your consideration is a "ULTRA RARE" FOUR COLOR #1075-TALES OF WELLS FARGO! Published by Dell Publishing way back in 1960. Stories and art uncredited. Really "NICE" photo cover! (check out scans) Based on the Western television series set in the 1870s and 1880s the series starred the Oklahoma native Dale Robertson as special agent Jim Hardie, noted at the time as "the left-handed gun!" Vintage "KEY" FOUR COLOR issue and a "MUST HAVE" for any Western, DELL, Photo Cover and WELLS FARGO completist! In my estimation the book ranges in (2.0) GOOD to (2.5) GOOD+ condition. Cover is totally detached from book and staples are discolored from rust. Very faint bend/crease on right side with minor rubbing. There are no other real glaring flaws/defects/imperfections to note or that can not be seen in scans. Book has ABSOLUTELY NO SPINE SPLITS! Inside covers have some age discoloration/staining. Really a good looking copy for being 51 years old, typically not being preserved/stored well and only being made of paper. Book is very tight/solid/structurally sound with no loose pages. Cover is relatively clean, has super high gloss/reflectivity with bright, vivid colors. Cover inks still kinda have that wet, fresh look. Inside paper is yellowed, slightly aged stained but supple. Possibly in CGC worthy condition and or because of scarcity alone. A desirable collectible copy with nice eye appeal. Don't snooze & miss your chance on this "tough-to-find" Silver Age DELL Comic that in (9.2) NEAR MINT- condition would set you back around $130! If you live in New York State or the item is being delivered within New York State or your if eBay account has a New York State address (regardless of where it is being shipped to) we have to, by law, charge 8.75% sales tax.
COMBINED INVOICES
Please note that the eBay invoice software system does not always. permit to combine one invoice for a buy it now item and an auction item. We will send two invoices with the shipping rate adjusted.
We ship purchases within 5 BUSINESS days after your payment clears. The only period of time this may differ will be during WEEKENDS/ HOLIDAYS.
You will only receive what is shown in the photos in the listing. If it is NOT shown, then it is NOT included.
