This is a 87V model and this unit is EXTRA nice and shows itself to be VERY accurate. The meter topcase and bottom case are in very nice condition. The yellow holster is in excellent condition for a very good reason, it is brand new, as are the other items that go with this auction. The lense is in excellent condition with no wear apparent.

Many times on Ebay, meters are sold with the fuses blown and battery depleted (I'm also seeing of late where sellers falsely state that they cannot ship with the battery! Just check out the price of these meter fuses on Ebay... one blown fuse and there goes that deal you thought you had. The battery and fuses for this meter are new and installed for you.

One of the nice advantages of the 87V is the convenient battery door on the back so that the meter doesn't have to be opened for replacement. Most of the meter, case and lense, damage that I see on Fluke's comes from improper opening of the cases for battery change. Fluke meters are sealed so well that often times the owner breaks the case, or lense, or damages the seals just because they aren't familiar with the proper way to open them (the proper way is noted in the enclosed manual). Also, distinctive with the V series, it has 2 levels of back lighting.

This meter has been completely checked out for you and is very accurate on all scales and all functions. It was last calibrated by Fluke and expired earlier this year..... which does NOT mean that the accuracy has changed in the least.  I've shown the meter connected to my calibrator and it verifies that it is very accurate. I've shown sample readings at 1 VDC, 10 VAC and 100 kOhms.
