Here is an absolutely fabulous old heavily and intricately carved dark wood box from New Zealand. In the 1950s it was used as a coffee table cigarette box, but it has not held cigarettes since the 1960s. Beautiful designs on the four sides. Original base felt with original tacks has quite alot of surface rub wear. Box itself is in wonderful overall condition with no splits and just some minor edge rub wear. Whiteness in photos is old fine dust in the crevasses of the design reflected by flash. Measures 6" by 4" by just under 2 1/2" high. Please see S/H details below.
