This is the equivalent of a 70-210mm full frame angle of view, with a constant 2.8 maximum aperture. It is very sharp, reasonably quick in focusing and very small and light. It is about a tenth the size and weight (and price!) of a full-frame 70-200. If you are unfamiliar with small format cameras you will be surprised at the quality of images this lens (as well as the other Q system lenses) can produce. It is somewhat fragile, I've had one go bad on me, when the internal electronics go it is unusable in any way. Despite that, I bought another to replace it.

I bought this lense for my husband's pentax camera. He had been playing around with his camera a lot more since getting this lense. The pictures are very detailed, crisp, and vibrant. I highly suggest this lense.

This is a good lens, but my experience - and the experience of others - does cause me to question how long the focusing will function.

Lens barrel is all scratched, obviously it was heavily used before. Zoom ring is very stiff and jerky, it’s hard to operate. Description of this lens was very misleading, it’s just a heavily used lens in a bad shape. I’m very disappointed
