I played in the same band for a little over ten years only to get this kit around year 9. I specifically reserved this kit for shows and recording sessions. After the purchase, we only played a handful of shows. After couple of job changes, majorly relocating twice, getting married, and having a baby, I no longer have the time nor space to set this kit up again and play it properly. I figured that it should be sold to somebody who is really looking for a high-quality, professional-level drum kit and doesn't want to pay retail price. I figure this kit deserves as much. If you look closely, you'll notice that I still have the original factory-supplied drum heads. I only managed to play somewhere under 20 shows on the kit and it has been stored in the hard cases in a climate-controlled ever since. Only visible wear is on the drum heads. The hardware is barely short of new because I wrapped the stands individually before placing them in the hardware bag for transport. You can keep the bag shown in the pictures, but I'm sure you would want something better. To prove the kit is indeed a USA Custom, you'll see the picture of the sticker placed inside each drum, with a serial number for that drum specifically. Also note the special paint used on the interior of the drums that Gretsch uses on the USA Custom's. The kit has a noticeably darker sound than it's DW counterpart. This was one of the features that swayed my decision when purchasing this kit. If you have any other questions regarding the kit, please do not hesitate to ask.
