Up for bids is an Epiphone Les Paul Standard in Ebony. It was purchaced new from Guitar Center in December 2007. It has been used at my smoke-free home and occasionally at some jam sessions over the years. It hasn't seen too much use in the past year, and has been stored in its case since late July. The guitar is in overall good shape except for some scuffs and scratches in various places on the guitar. Since this is a black guitar, some minor polishing scratches are visible. They're mostly on the top and back side of the guitar, and visible only in certain lighting conditions. There is also some slight scuffing on the bottom horn of the body, as can be seen in the pictures. There are some small deep scratches on the back of the body, just under the neck heel. on the top edge of the headstock, there are a couple of small nicks and scuffs.

           On the up side, This guitar has smooth action and keeps in tune very well. The original bridge pickup has been replaced with a Seymour Duncan JB sh-4 humbucker. (I will include the original bridge pickup with this auction.) The pickup selector switch has also been replaced with a higher-quality Switchcraft unit.

           Included with this auction is an Epiphone hardshell case. The case was purchased with the guitar in '07 and is still in decent shape. There are scuffs and tears throughout the outside surface of the case that can been seen in the picture, but it is still very sturdy. There are no cracks, and all latches and hinges work properly. The inside of the case is like new.
