This bass is very similar to my first professional bass which was a 1971 black Guild Starfire. It looks and feels almost the same but I like it even better because it has the longer scale and the mother of perl inserts. I just love it !

Initially I was very hesitant to buy this bass. But it's found a permanent place in my bass lineup. It has a real warm tone and kind of hangs around the p-bass vibe as far as application. I put some Thomastik Infeld round wounds on it. Sounds great! The look of this thing is amazing, so it's nice that it's a real player as well. Only and only complaint I have is where the strap connects at the base of the neck. The weight isn't distributed rightand the bass tends to tilt away from you. I haven't seen anything that compares to this bass today. Love it.
I bought the case for my Jack Casady bass and it fits perfect. It looks nice and has extra space to put in a chord, strap or whatever one might want. It seems pretty solid and that it will protect the bass from most things.

Very interesting tool, good build quality and excellent sound( for the corresponding price category).
The bass was in wonderful condition and delivered timely. Now I have a match for my 74 Gibson les Paul signature gold top
