Elegant and Ornate Vintage French Three Light Chandelier in Bronze

Stunning three light chandelier in solid bronze with a wealth of period detail.

The ornate and substantial ceiling rose is patterned with decorative splayed fluting.

A long chain is composed of alternate plain and very detailed fancy long links, and this attaches to the main body of the light by a substantial hook with a small plume of feathers either side.

The central column has a stippled and fluted section at the top, with a beautifully embossed, gently tapering middle. This sits upon the central base, which is embellished both top and bottom with a swirling plume design.

Three arms sweep gracefully from the centre of the light and are all in an elegant empire style, with collonades, plumes and fruity finials. The candle holders at the end of each arm echo the sweeping patterns seen on the central base and are complete with faux candle sleeves.

This glorious chandelier is completed with a large bronze finial at the base.

An extremely detailed and rich chandelier with lovely proportions, it is in excellent condition, with the bronze having attained a warm mellow glow over the years, and would grace any setting with vintage french elegance and style.

The height can easily be adjusted by adding or removing chain links.

It takes three small screw in bulbs (not included)

Wired and fully functional, however, as with all vintage lighting it should be checked and installed by a qualified electrician.
