This is a power bat for those of us that play in single-wall only leagues. I crack up when I see guys posting how this or another single wall bat is garbage compared to (insert composite bat). Of course it is genius, composite bats are made to have a much higher reflex and essentially propel the ball off of your bat whereas a single wall is rated to minimize this. If you play in a league that allows any type of bat, go buy a super expensive composite and pray you don't play 3rd base. However, if you play in a single wall league, this is the best bat you can buy.

Today's bats are suppose to be hot right out of the wrapper. Or hot after 20-30 swings. This bat has about 300 swings on it and its just starting to break in. Wont know if its a great bat until then, but for $50, its a bargain. If you buy this bat consider having it rolled at a bat store. Then it will break in quickly.

This bat has been very good in the batting cages and was fine in the one game in which I have used it so far. I am trying this lightweight bat instead of my previous 34/28 composite that I had been using and instead of a 34/30 composite bat that I used last year, in the hope that a 26-ounce bat might give me a slightly better ability to hit the pitches more squarely, because the lighter weight might make easier tiny adjustments in bat angle in the instant before contact with the pitch. I also checked my bat speed using a radar gun, and my bat speed was better than with the 28-ounce bat and significantly better than with the 30-ounce bat, so that the total force (speed times swing weight) on the batted ball was greater with the 26-ounce bat than with the heavier bats. A bigger and stronger player than me, however, might have different results, if he or she could really snap the heavier bats. Finally, from what I have read, one-piece aluminum bats have equal pop as composites, despite the widespread preference for composites. Apparently aluminum bats are best when new, and then deteriorate gradually, so they are tested for batting standards compliance when new. But composite bats reach their peaks gradually, so they are tested at the point of their greatest pop, that is, just as they are about to break.Read full review

Has decent pop after some hits, but not a fan of the material and feel of the bat. Use it on occasion just cause I bought it. But the regular salvos are where it's at. Wouldn't recommend the bat unless you can get it for under 100
