Coverking has a wide selection of Custom Seat Cover materials to meet most needs.  All material offered by Coverking meet strict quality standards and are not over-runs or "OEM-second" materials.  While many of our materials are also used by vehicle manufacturers, they are all first quality and not over-runs or "off color".

Coverking Fit and Design of Patterns:

Custom Fit can be claimed by anyone, but we take it to heart. When a new vehicle is introduced, a team of pattern designers obtain a vehicle and use sophisticated 3-D scanning systems to get a digital image of the seats. We then flatten the 3D image to a flat pattern - using our years of pattern making experience to ensure the perfect fit.

A sample product is made and tried on the vehicle. Adjustments are made and, after several such cycles, the final pattern in finalized and stored in our CAD/CAM system. We make seat cover patterns for virtually every vehicle (the only exceptions are ultra-exotics where we simply can't obtain a vehicle to make a pattern from).

We offer the most complete pattern library and have had experience with thousands more patterns, allowing us to perfect the process of seat cover design. This experience also allows us to consider the installation process while designing a pattern. Designing a perfect fitting seat cover is worthless if the installation process is so difficult - the cover won't be installed correctly and the customer will end up frustrated with the purchase. Part of the approval process for every seat cover design is an installation test designed to ensure simple and effective installation from an average person.  Our design department has the authority to design patterns without any restrictions on labor time or component costs - whatever they feel is needed to provide the best fit with the simplest installation.

Coverking offers Custom Seat Covers for Rear Seats:

Coverking Custom Seat Covers are becoming very popular for middle and rear row seats. Custom Truck Seat Covers are offered for front, middle and rear rows. Installation is simple because the middle and third row are usually removable. In some cases such as extended cab truck seat covers, the rear row is bolted to the cab, and tools must be used to remove the seat and replace it after the seat cover installation. In these cases, the Coverking seat cover part number makes note of the additional installation requirements.

Coverking also offers Custom Fit Car Seat Covers for the rear. In many cases with cars, the rear seat must be removed. Coverking suggests professional installation be used in these cases, and a note is made in the part listing.

Custom seat covers for the back row of cars includes cutouts for seat belts and seat adjustments. Coverking uses the same material throughout the seat cover (even the back panels, which are hidden). Areas of the rear seat which anchor to the vehicle body are pre-cut and edged to prevent the seat cover fabric from fraying.

Side Air Bags Modification:

Coverking designs a special flap which allows airbags to deploy while seat covers are installed. This flap keeps the shape of the seat cover, preventing wrinkles which can be caused by simply cutting a hole in the airbag position. The flap is made of the same material as the seat cover - keeping the original look and style of the seat cover.

Coverking makes these airbag provisions an included piece of all Coverking Custom Fit Seat Covers, and does not charge extra.   

Note:  Do not use Universal Seat Covers on cars, trucks or any vehicle that came with integrated side air bags on front seats!
