Awesome, This is one of the best things I ever had my hands on! Touch Screen works great and visually it's beautiful. If you want a tablet but need DVDRW then make life easy and just get this. Only a few things could be better one would be bigger processor options my C2D 2.2ghz on my D830 performs better but the 1.33ghz C2D is sufficient. Also with the media bay attached does make it slightly heavy but manageable. Other than its perfect and I can comfortably live with those downsides still would recommend it to anyone and I love to brag about it because you don't see many convertibles on the market so your really getting the best of both worlds!
The Dell Latitude XT is a really sleek convertible laptop/tablet and seems to hold up well to use, which is important to someone like me who is buying used! For the price, usually $120 to $200, you are getting a laptop that is admittedly a few years old, however, you could also say that you are buying a topnotch product for nearly a tenth of the price when it was new. The housing and main structures of the laptop feel like they are high quality, not like the new budget laptops that are all warp and plastic! My experience is that for the money, these older business class laptops are good value for money! For what it is worth, the main competitors to the Dell XT are the Lenovo X200 and the Fujitsu Lifebook 4415 and 4420. In my experience, having used all of them, the Dell XT wears better and looks good longer than the others. The Lifebook is white, which shows up marks and dirt rather quickly. Also the X200 does not have touchpad like most other laptops. With the XT, you can use an older laptop without feeling like your business associates will look down on you for using a worn out machine!Read full review
I bought this product because I have had my Toshiba for quite a while....I wanted some thing new.I love everything about his laptop with 3 exception.....battery life is terrible therefor taking it while traveling would be extremely annoying. Secondly, it has no webcam, but for the price, I need not complain. Lastly......there is no cd rom drive. I was not aware of this at the time I bought it. Had I know, I am not sure if I would have made the purchase.
It was long time that I was looking for such a computer but the new ones in market were very expensive to buy. I am not using it at this time but I wish it will have enough battery life and be working good when I needed. I love it and has good features.
Very nice,I like the transition of the 2in1
