Item recovered from a local school, semi-tested and sold AS IS. This auction is for a Decent Optoma DMD Projection Display TX700 DLP Projector w/no Bulb&Housing #2. Has the Advanced DarkChip2 DLP technology. This has probably been in storage for a long time, and they just didn't have the money to purchase a new bulb at the time, so they set it aside until they had the money. Since this does not come with a bulb or bulb housing, I cannot fully test this projector. BULB NOT INCLUDED. The unit seems to be in pretty decent shape cosmetically, with a little dust here and there, but should all clean up nicely. A lot of units we get have engraving or writing with marker on them, but this one is clean except for previous dust mentioned. Unit has a retractable foot on the bottom that pops out when you press the button next to it. I pushed the button and the leg popped up. Looks to have the 90 degree foot missing, but can find something to replace it or make one. I plugged the unit in and the green POWER lamp flashed on and off. When I pushed the POWER/STANDBY button, the fan turned on and the green POWER light stayed on solid. After a while, the red LAMP light lit up and then extinguished. Then it went back to the green POWER light turning on and off again.  This unit does look to be in very decent shape with very minor wear and sticker residue on top, and I can't guarantee that it will work fine if a bulb is put in it, but it does seem like it has a great potential to work once a bulb & housing are installed, so selling AS IS. Takes a D-style power cord, and I will include a brand new cord with the unit so you can power the unit up. I did notice someone else selling one of these and it had a remote control. I found a bunch of similar remotes that came in with a bunch of projectors, so I will include it with this projector (picture 12). I did put a couple of AAA batteries in the remote and it did power on the projector, but couldn't really test anything else with the remote. Does show that it is transmitting and receiving a signal. Batteries will NOT be included. Bulb can be found easily for this projector. Projector has an MSRP of $1499!! Starting at a fraction of the original price. Thanks for your time.
