“An Afternoon Date With The Cab”

If you are the Lucky Winning Bid,  Saturday January 7th 2012 from 1:00pm until 3:30pm you and up to 5 friends will be out on a Bowling Date with Alex Deleon and Alex Marshall from the band the Cab.  This date will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada at a luxury resort.  You and your 5 friends will meet the Cab at the resort for 2.5 hours of fun, conversation, dining and bowling.  This date will be just you and the band.  You can pick 5 of your friends or go it alone.  

This auction is supporting Music Saves Lives 100% and your winning bid will be used to support MSL's life saving mission.    

The Cab is an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Their debut album, Whisper War, was released on April 29, 2008. They have been called "The Band You Need to Know 2008" by Alternative Press magazine. They were also featured in the '100 Bands You Need To Know in 2010' by the magazine and were one of the three bands featured on the cover page, along with Never Shout Never and Hey Monday. Their second album Symphony Soldier was released on August 23, 2011,^[1] with its first single "Bad" released to iTunes July 11, 2011^[2] and announced by the band on July 18. The Cab funded the entire album by themselves and left their Fueled by Ramen/Decaydance label, self-releasing Symphony Soldier.AbsolutePunk gave an extremely positive review with a rating of 95%, calling the album a "masterpiece."

Music Saves Lives® is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and the bridge between music, entertainment and important life-saving causes. We bring a simple concept; connect the music and entertainment we all love to life-saving community action. MSL has focused efforts on blood donation and the bone marrow registry, reaching out by sharing facts, educating and empowering youth. We educate about the importance of simple life-saving actions they can participate in. These simple actions, like donating blood, running a blood drive, and registering for the marrow program to save those with leukemia, all connect back to the community. 

As a recognized 501(c)(3) organization, we have grown from our home base in Southern California to a worldwide presence. We are still young, only having started in late 2005, but our growth has reached millions of students.  Disclaimer:  Auction winners agree to be filmed and must sign a wavier at time of the meeting. Auction winner(s) must provide his or her own travel to and from the selected Las Vegas Resort. Auction winners must be 18 and over and the guests must be 15 years of age and older.  Music Saves Lives will have final say and determination of the winner and guests ability to participate based on meeting age requirements.  No refund will be given after the auction closes due to age, or any requirement that was not met.  The actual meeting event will not exceed 2.5 hours unless approved by the band.  Management, Music Saves Lives staff and the Resort staff have the option to be part of the meeting event.
