The authentic Dyno-Boost Performance Chip was developed and is manufactured by Magnum Tuning Engineering only.

After installation of affordable Magnum Dyno-Boost the engine becomes to crisp and powerful. HP and Nm data will be upgraded. Since the air/fuel ratio in injected up-to-date vehicles is regulated by the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and most factory ECUs are set to maintain a 14.7:1 air/fuel ratio; this is known as a stoichiometric fuel mix, user is unable to trim manually or mechanically this ratio as by early models.

This incapability leads to power loss due to serious environment protection laws and rules.

To resolve the situation one has to trick the ECU forcing it to modify AFR thus we can retrieve an explosive power without delay just after pumping the throttle meanwhile richening the air/fuel ratio will cause only a moderated reduction in fuel economy due to improved efficiency of the combustion.

Magnum D-Boost increases the engine performance by adjusting AFR between 12,7 and 14.7, the utmost performance oriented fuel curves. Ignition timing is adjusted consequently.

This unit is controlling injection in multiple ways.
First, it modifies signals being read by the ECU, resulting adjustment to the AFR, from the second hand - by bikes, where O2 sensor is installed - it monitors the signal of O2 sensor and creates intervention into its signal, accordingly the chip module does not let the ECU limit our modified setting of air/fuel ratio.

Dyno-BOOST is a fully adjustable performance chip also referred to as fuel controller designed to fuel injected motorcycles. It tricks signals being read by the ECU, resulting an adjustment to the fuel curve, which is what causes the increase in HP, as well as improves acceleration and throttle response throughout the RPM range, simply wires inline with factory IAT (Intake Air Temperature) also referred to as MAF (Mass Air Flow) or MAP sensor and plugs into the O2 sensor harness on those models having it. Crisp acceleration, much more horsepower and torque, lower quarter mile times and fine throttle response. Installation is easy, no special tools or expertise required. If no voltage applied on the chip, engine runs in factory mode.

INSTALLATION OF MAGNUM Dyno-BOOST performance chip

Installation is easy and universal for each model.

Easy steps

1. Locate the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) also referred to as MAF or MAP (Mass Air Flow) sensor in the intake.
2. Cut its signal wire and contact° the purple wires to the two ends. Direction does not matter.
3. Find the oxygen sensor(s) in the exhaust°°
4. Splice blue cables to O2 sensor's signal wire according to the following wiring table.
5. Contact the red cable of doubled wire to the ignition battery + 12V, and the black thread to the ground or battery negative.

° For contact you might use the supplied terminals or solder the wires in place.
°° On bikes without O2 sensor, leave blue wires disconnected.

QUICK PERFORMANCE ADJUSTMENT

1. Turn on the ignition key and red status LED will start to illuminate.
2. Crank the engine, wait until reaches operating temperature then let it run at idle speed.
3. Turn the screw slowly clockwise (right), while pumping the gas after each quarter turn.
4a. Keep on adjusting until pumping will result a flat spot and engine starts to hesitate and turn the knob slowly counterclockwise (left) until flat spot vanishes.
4b. If no flat spot experienced make test rides checking the acceleration.
5. After adjustment completed tighten the fixing spacer bolt with the self-lock nut.

Alternative Adjustment Tip

Start the adjustment with quarter turns. After each turn test throttle response and acceleration.
Some ECU's restrict the AFR in a certain range and you cannot expect hesitation or flat spot.
This method is a little bit slow but can help to allocate the optimal point. Too rich mixture will not result better performance.

Reset and restart: Dial 30 full turns on the screw counterclockwise - left.
When unit does not receive +/- 12V power, the unit is in factory mode. After feeding 12V, you can adjust fuel injection with the help of the screw.

After installation of Magnum Dyno-BOOST performance chip the engine will run harsh. HP and Nm data will be upgraded. Since the air/fuel ratio on injected up-to-date vehicles is controlled by the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and most factory ECU's are set to maintain a lean 14.7:1 or leaner air/fuel ratio; this is known as a stoichiometric fuel mix, operator is unable to adjust this ratio manually or mechanically as on early carbureted models.
