New Black DX Motorcycle Hard Saddle Bags with Lights and Heavy Duty Mounting Brackets

Description

This auction is for a brand new pair of black color DX series universal hard saddlebags with single function lights plus a set of our universal heavy duty mounting brackets.

The DX bags are smaller bags with a gloss finish. Our DX bags are made by the same manufacturer as the other DX and SB bags available on Ebay, but ours have two improvements. We have tossed away the standard 1/12" thick mounting brackets and replaced them with our $28 value 1/4" thick universal mounting brackets. We also upgraded the unpolished chrome flat side trim to polished chrome and changed the zinc bolt heads on the flat side trim to chrome acorn nuts. It's a much better appearance.

The DX bags are a nice low cost alternative to leather bags. They are made of white colored ABS plastic and they include 2 coded keys and mounting hardware as shown in the photos. The red lens lights have a single bulb and can be wired as either running lights or brake lights.

We have the only DX bags sold on ebay that include heavy duty mounting brackets. The other DX bags include flimsy brackets which are much smaller as shown in the photo showing both types. Our brackets are made of nearly 1/4 inch thick steel and they have 6 threaded mounting holes. The set weighs 3.2 lbs. They are designed to fit most cruiser type bikes with mounting bolts in the rear fender rails. Please examine the photos and the dimensions of our bags to determine whether these brackets will work for your bike. Don't pay for over priced brackets if ours will fit your bike.

This package includes 2 DX hard bags, two keys, 4 heavy duty mounting brackets plus, bolts and nuts for attaching the bags to the mounting brackets. You may need longer fender rail bolts or additional hardware between the bracket and the fender rail such as nylon or rubber washers. Use care to not damage the fender rail.


The dimensions of the case are 16 1/8" long x 10 7/8" tall x 6 1/8" wide. The overall dimensions including the front reflector and the chrome rails is 19 3/8" long x 10 7/8" tall x 7 1/2" wide.
