4 PIECE CHILD PIRATE CAPTAIN ENSEMBLE (items also sold individually. Please contact me for further info)
This is a very handsome 4pc. custom made-for you costume will make a wonderful addition to any child or teen's renaissance/pirate wardrobe! The awesome frock coat is fully lined and made of a gorgeous quality home dec fabric( or you may wish to choose velvet, twill or a wool blend). You may choose whatever trims , buttons, etc.that you prefer! After you place your order, I will be happy to send you pictures of fabric, trims and button choices. The waistcoat or vest can be made of a gorgeous quality brocade, home dec. or suede cloth fabric and is lined with a lightweight satin taffeta (or other if you prefer) which is also used for the back. The shirt can be made of any color cotton, cotton/poly blend, linen or batiste fabric,(or any other fabric) with a hook at the collar and optional lace that is sewn down on the left side and attaches with velcro (which doesn't show), on the right. (Please specify when ordering if you want the lace or not.)The cuffs have a matching lace and button closure. The pirate style pants are made of any color suedecloth(or other fabric) with "drop" front,or a "fell", which buttons and hooks closed at the waist. They come to just below the knee and have buttons on each side that match the rest of the costume. I will make this whole costume in ANY child size or color that you want! I am quite flexible in the styling, so if you have something else in mind, please feel free to contact me.
MEASUREMENTS:
When custom ordering, please remember, don't rely on sizes that you would buy in a store! Please do not just give me your pants and coat sizes as these are NOT accurate! Many stores use "vanity" sizing so that you will purchase from them and this is FAR from your actual measurement. Measure VERY CAREFULLY with a tape measure(and get a friend to help!) around the chest right under armpits and length from back base of the neck to where you want the bottom of garment (coat, vest and shirt) to be. Also, measure shoulder to shoulder across the back (from where a shirt's seam would be,at the top of the shoulder), circumference of waist, hips, upper arm, wrist, neck and just below the knee. Please inform me if you wear your pants around your waist or "under your belly". I will also need a sleeve length from the shoulder to the wrist and pants inseam (from crotch to just below the knee). Also please include you height. These simple but accurate measurements will ensure the best fit! ****Please note that your costume is guaranteed to the measurements that you provide. Any alterations are the responsibility of the buyer.
