This is much more than a slow cooker. I have roasted in it, browned then slow cooked. It can do it all in just one appliance. Cannot be more satisfied with the Cuisnart Multi-Cooker. The price was half as much as all the others listed on Ebay and is so much more than I expected. Highly recommend.
