CROWN DUCAL ' ORANGE TREE '
COFFEE POT

This is the very attractive and popular pattern by Crown Ducal ( A G Richardson & Co Ltd of Gordon Pottery, Tunstall, Staffordshire) called Orange Tree today by collectors. Originally called Red Tree it was introduced in 1925 and consists of black tree silhouettes bearing bright orange fruit on a white ground.
This item is a Coffee Pot, measuring approximately 8½ ins (21.5 cm) to top of lid finial. In good condition, no chips, cracks, some light crazing but not significant in my view. Printed backstamp reads a crown Crown Ducal Ware England, also marked A1211 Rd No 7112701.
