to you: I am an honest trader who finds the golden rule his best and
surest guide, in almost every situation. You may bid with absolute
confidence: my aim is to leave you nothing but happy at the end of the
day. If you'd like to receive advance notice of the next sale, just drop
me a line.
It is my strong belief, and also practical
experience, that “good karma is good business.” I will treat you as well
as or better than I’d like to be, from start to finish.
For the time being, all books will be sold in a "pure auction" format,
at a starting price of 9 bucks. I deal on eBay enough to know that it
just doesn't get much better than that, with quality merchandise. If the
format allows you to add to your collection that certain really nice
book you've been lusting after, at a price you can manage, then more
power to you.
Any defects either hidden or not plainly evident in
the pics will be specifically mentioned. My overall intention here is to
inform and clarify, not to seek refuge in ambiguity, play any games, or
"pull one over on you." (Even if I win at that game, as I see it, we
both lose.) I will gladly provide more "whatever" upon request, and am
always happy to answer any questions.
Please do take care to consider carefully for yourself the pictures
provided. You might not have been weaned properly, for example, and may
take a dimmer view of hypothetical/philosophical comic book standards of
excellence. Quite seriously, folks: there is no adequate substitute for
your own conclusions as to whether any of these books will be the
copies likely to bring you joy. I am here to serve you as best as I am
able, no matter your personal goals or pleasure in collecting, and
consider that my great privilege. Honestly. In the end, it isn't my
opinion of a book’s condition that's truly important: it's yours. Any
questions at all, please just ask. I will do all within my power to
100% plus customer satisfaction is my steady aim. Thus far, knock on wood, I seem to be doing all right.
Returns accepted for legitimate reason, provided notice is given within
fifteen (15) days of receipt. I would ask, however, that you not view a
purchase as a casual, "trial" ownership, like taking a pile of skirts,
shorts, or what have you into a dressing booth. Here, we're thinking
more in terms of the cash register! Absent some good reason, a deal has
been made, considerable time and effort invested in getting us there,
and other interested buyers lost their shot on a winning bid. I cannot
afford endless back-and-forth on the same book(s). Nevertheless: If you
are unhappy, I definitely want to know about it, and will make all
reasonable efforts to make it right. A note to the few (you know who you
are) who are working some scheme or otherwise not acting in good faith,
or from dishonest motive, don't even think about it. Karma can be a
Payment: PayPal preferred. Please
plan on making payment immediately (if possible) or on the day
following, and no later than five (5) days of your winning bid. After
five (5) business days, absent agreement, the deal will die a natural
(if tragic) death, and the book again become available to the world.
All purchases will be shipped via U.S. Priority Mail, at cost plus $1
and change (in the U.S.A., generally rounded to $6.00, or just a bit
more if larger package required.). All items will be packaged as
carefully and securely as if little baby Moses himself might be in the
box, except delivery should not transpire by river's current and is
fully expected to arrive dry. Since I do have a business (or two) to
run, the best I can commit to shipping out is no later than 3-4 business
days after payment has cleared. But: since I am an eBay buyer as well, I
do understand, and will strive to ship as quickly as Humanly possible.
(Since all purchases are shipped priority, you should hopefully still be
quite pleased with how soon you will have the books in hand, anyway.)
happily ship internationally on a case-by-case basis. TWO IMPORTANT
NOTES for buyers living outside of the United States, including Canada: (1) Kindly REFRAIN
from making payment until you have been invoiced. I will get to
you, I promise! (In the event such payment is made, and the buyer
remains wholly unresponsive after two (2) or more messages, such
transactions shall be subject to immediate cancellation.)
international purchases must be shipped via USPS International Express
Mail (or still more-expensive private courier) to qualify for the proof
of delivery required to keep one or the other of us from taking a severe
financial hit, in the event of a problem in delivery. eBay makes this rule, and not me or any other seller here.
The vast majority of sellers neither like charging you more for
postage, nor gain one penny more by doing so. Respectfully: if
you do enough homework to understand the predicament imposed upon United
States sellers by eBay’s rules, and communicate with basic respect and
in a civil manner, we are more likely to “get to 'Yes,’” as we both want. Thank you.
happily "bundle" multiple purchases, finding "stacked" shipping charges
a personally offensive and uncalled-for “money-grab." I see costs of

THANK YOU for considering my books. Please take a
look at the others I have up for auction. I look forward to hopefully
putting a smile on your face!
