Piers Anthony is one of my favorite authors and he does another wonderful hit with "Crewel Lye." It's number eight in the wonderful Xanth series. Jordan, mentioned in "Night Mare" as a helpful ghost, has his past revealed as a sweet, bored Ivy forces the magic tapestry to show his adventures for him to tell her his tale. Fun is about as this unbeatable barbarian ventures into treacheries of magicians, monsters, magic, and women, all very dangerous aspects of Xanth. The puns make bring the visuals to life and play on your knowledge of so many intricacies. This is not made for children! I was young when I first read a Xanth novel, but it is more fun and makes more sense to older teens and adults. Hope you enjoy!
I love this book. I decided to but it because I'm collecting the authors books. It is a great book in a fabulous series. I look forward to finding more of his books.
