Craftsman openers are expensive and the LiftMaster is a great alternative. My garage opener is 8 years old, and that's how long it took for one of my remotes to fall apart. I did not want to pay $45 for a spare remote, so I bought the LiftMaster, and I like the quality and it weighs a bit more too. I would definitely recommend this. I just might buy another one to replace my other Craftsman remote that will eventually break.

I like that the remote came with a battery and instructions to pair it to my garage door opener. I didn't like that the remote has very short range. It is shorter than another identical remote that I already had. Maybe 20 feet. Maybe the battery is dead? I will try replacing it.

I install a lot of these in my business & this is a great product, works with pretty much all garage door operators. Real easy to program & is a great price on here (Ebay)compared to big box stores.

Standard product. Haven't had problems with Sears garage door opener remotes, until I needed this to replace one that died. Multiple others have survived over the years though.

The garage door opener worked perfectly after programming and already had batteries included. Good value.
