The tent is a bit heavy, but quality poles aren't light, and I was able to set it up by myself, although it took a little longer than expected. If I had help, it would have been 10-15 minutes. My only complaints are that the instructions on the bag were for a different tent (I thought I was missing 2 poles until I realized the error), but it wasn't hard to setup even without the instructions. The tent did have a couple of small leaks inside but it rained all day, so it could have been worse. I will definitely waterproof the rainfly and seams before I take it out again. If I had to make the decision again, I would still buy it.

Everyone, Purchased this tent for an extended stay at Yellow Stone this summer. So far the experience is setting up the tent in the yard to understand how it is to set up and to check for any defects that could cause issues. The set up took about 20 minutes with my son's help (It takes two to upright the poles). Plenty of room for five cots and clothing with room to manuver. The open roof without rain fly provides pleny of air circulation with windows open on each end. Have not experienced rain but, do not see problems with the construction of the rain fly and tubbed floor. Over all satisfaction with construction is very good. The hinged door is very nice with the shock cord poles holding it to a consitant profile. Privacy is not a problem from outside of the tent looking in but the room divider does not block every view. I am satisfied with the purchase and am looking forward to future use. Thanks, Darin MoodyRead full review
Within minutes of receiving this my son and had it on the front lawn and unpackaged. Neither one of us are the type to read instructions, and even still, we had it set up and taking pictures in 15 minutes. We have perfected it down to ten. It is so easy with the color coded poles, and so strong because they are steel. I was concerned when I used it the first time that I hadn't sealed the seems. Then we got a little rain, but never a drop inside. After we got home I realized the seems are already sealed with tape - awesome! I love the light, I love the fan(it seems silly, but it circulates the air to help with condensation), I love the D style door. I think this is a great tent and would recommend it to anyone.
This is a great tent and a head-turner! Especially with the ceiling fan and LED light. The hinged door is a great feature. Set-up and instructions are ridiculous! It's takes two experienced people. Period. And, it will take up to 1-hour. Do not believe 20 minute set up, no way. I have already set it up 3 times. One person set-up is nearly impossible. Breaks down and packs up pretty easily, i will say that. Fits 6 people with gear very comfortably. I would reccommed this tent to families for sure!
We bought this tent for a family of 5 to camp on the beach. Set up was simple even in the wind, it stood up through rain and strong winds without a problem. we stayed completely dry inside. Main support poles are metal which I was surprised to see, and the little electrical access door on the end in the picture, does not exist. That must have only been on the earlier model.
