Store Categories | Up for auction is this eight iron set of men’s right-handed Cleveland TA3 Form Forged golf irons (3-P). With the exception of some chrome wear on the faces of the 9 and 7 irons, and a ding on the leading edge of the 6 iron, these irons are still in decent condition, have good grooves, and have absolutely plenty of shots left in them (note: the face of the 9 iron, which is the most used club, can be seen in the photo, and the 6 iron ding is located to the right of the red letter “A” in the top left of the photo. Even though the 9 and 7 iron faces show the most use, their grooves are in good condition and have plenty of shots left in them) All of the thin metal cavity emblem inserts are in tact and have some minor nicks and scratches. The soles have normal usage marks and nicks; however, the rest of the club heads do NOT have a lot of bag chatter as can be found on soft forged irons (note: there is a small shallow ding on the 8 iron sole to the left of the second letter “e” in the word “Cleveland” that is not a big deal and can really not be seen well in the photo). These irons are shafted with their original True Temper Dynamic Gold S300 stiff flex steel shafts which are in very good condition. All of the shaft labels are present but do show considerable wear and are not legible (note: I compared the shafts of this set to another set with S300 shafts and they matched). The length of the 5 iron is 37 7/8” inches (note: my measurement was taken from the end of the grip to the sole of the club with its last groove parallel to the grounding surface). The ferules and their thin colored black and white detail trim rings are all present and in excellent condition. The Golf Pride V55 full cord grips are soft and in very good condition cosmetically and for playability. These irons have a nice setup feel to them, and the head can easily be adjusted open or closed for a fade or draw. Free insured shipping in the United States excluding Alaska and Hawaii.
