Reproduction ~*~ Civil War ~*~ Victorian ~*~ Mourning ~*~ 100% Cotton Broadcloth One Piece Day Dress ~*~
This dress is from the former shop of Servent's in Gettysburg, PA. Worn a few times and freshly washed and dried, needs hemmed and ironed.
This is a one piece dress with the double darts in the front of the bodice of the 1860's. The dress bodice is lined and is a perfect three season dress. Closes in the front with hooks and eyes. The sleeves are gathered into a cuff with Black button closure.
The neckline, bodice waist and armscyes - arm holes are self piped for strength as was done in the 19th century.
The attached skirt has a full sweep of 128 inches. The skirt is shown on a 5 bone hoop skirt.**Not included. The skirt is gathered into the waistband with a dog leg front closure and hidden side pocket. The skirt needs hemmed, there is slight lightening where the old hem was. Not extremely noticeable since it is so close to the bottom of the fabric.
Grandmother's brooch is not inclded.
The last photo shows the dress hem folded up and an underskirt added for length. the underskirt is available on a seperate Listing of mine. Extra fabric is available to trim the dress.
~*~ Fabric was preshrunk before cutting. ~*~
