The History of the Baker Collection:
I have the honor and privilege to offer the truly incredible lifelong United States Insignia Collection of Honorable Judge Paul Baker of Miami Florida who was a passionate insignia collector covering the time span prior to the Civil War thru Vietnam. He was an very advanced collector who acquired thousands of important pieces of early US Aviation Wings, Rare Distinctive Insignia, Civil War Corps Badges, Cap Devices, Shako Plates, WWI Collar Discs, Bullion Cloth Insignia, Airborne Insignia, Army Air Corps Insignia, Most US Collar Insignia, Civil War Buttons, and a host of other important insignia too numerous to mention
He collected mostly during the 1960’s thru the 1980’s and the collection was given by him to his neighbor in the early 1990’s just prior to his passing. I have recently acquired the collection directly from her which has been in storage for over 20 years. This is a once in a lifetime to acquire some of these rare and highly sought after items which will be offered at this time to the public.
I have partnered with ebay seller plkarmsandantiques to help offer the collection due to the sheer volume of items so please make sure to visit their site soon!! They will be offering hundreds of important pieces in the weeks and months to come!!
I am will be listing hundreds of WWI and WWII wings, rare badges, bullion insignia, unit DI's, and much more over the next weeks which mostly will have a very modest starting bid with no reserve!!
