    Original quality automatic transmission solenoid

    Chrysler has improved this part over the years. The newer upgraded version costs at least twice as much. I chose this as a very inexpensive way to restore the initial quality of my PT Cruiser. It has served me well for the last 15 years. May have only needed to replace the gasket that was leaking, but since I would pay the same price just to replace the gasket, I decide to replace both. It's now on the car, the leak is gone, and I'm pleased with my choice. Works great!

    The gasket was an improvement over the original. Only time will tell if the actual solenoid pack has been improved

    Helps to save your tranny

    When these dodge transmissions begin to shift hard it's very often this solenoid pack that causes the problem. That was the case with my transmission and this solenoid assembly made it so that it shifted like new again. My transmission would often slip between third and fourth gear or feel like it was shifting into fourth before it had disengaged from third causing the transmission to drag this solenoid assembly fixed the problem completely.
